FAQ
-
1. How can I be sure that my pipe crack or joint leak is suitable for an Expandable Pipe Seal? Are there any situations where it’s not recommended?
This is a critical question. Expandable pipe repair sleeves are an excellent solution for fixing misaligned joints, circumferential cracks, and areas of mild corrosion. They are particularly effective for sewer lateral leak repair, trenchless pipe repair technology, and waterproof sealing for pipe joints. However, they are not suitable for completely collapsed pipes, extensive structural damage (like long longitudinal fractures), or very high-pressure main lines. Before purchase, assess if the damage is localized and circumferential, and ensure the pipe wall has sufficient integrity to support the seal. -
2. Once expanded and cured inside the pipe, what water pressure and temperature range can it withstand? What is its expected service life?
