Manufacturing Process
• Compression molding
(Compression molding=CM-Process)
• Injection molding
(Injection molding=IM-Process)
When the CM process is adopted for processing, the raw materials are manually added to the middle of the mold before the upper and lower molds are combined. As this process is very time-consuming, this process is suitable for the manufacturing of small batches and large sizes.
The raw materials are automatically injected into the multi-chamber mold by using the IM process. This process is particularly suitable for the production of large quantities and small sizes.

Sealing Mechanism
The O-ring is an automatic bidirectional sealing element. During installation, the pre-compression in both the radial and axial directions endows the O-ring with its own initial sealing capacity. It increases as the system pressure rises.

FAQ
-
1. O-rings used on outdoor equipment or exposed to sunlight and ozone for long periods often harden and crack. Are there specially weather-resistant materials or preventive measures?
-
2. We have purchased many O-rings of different specifications. Over time, identifying the material becomes difficult, posing a high risk of mixing. How can we prevent this at both the source and on-site?
-
3. In extreme high-vacuum or rapid pressure cycling (pressure shock) conditions, standard O-rings can suffer from gas permeation or explosive decompression (ED) damage. What are the special requirements?
